She was my first teacher of what I would call animal friendship.
A first rate companion, we liked each other and that was that.
Everyday she would follow me to the bus stop or to the traffic light
at the corner of Turiaçú and Germaine Bouchard Street.
While I was in school she would visit all the butcher shops and dogs in the area.
When I was heading home, she would be waiting for me on the corner.
